FEATURING - BEIJING / XIAN / SHANGHAI with HONGKONG

Day 1 DUBLIN / CORK TO BEIJING

Depart Ireland for your overnight flight to Beijing - enjoy the in-flight service including meals, bar service and the latest feature films.

Day 2 BEIJING

Morning arrival in Beijing where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 3 BEIJING

Breakfast at your hotel. Following breakfast you will depart on a full day excursion, to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. This is one of the most amazing feats of human labour. Following your lunch break, you will join the Hutong tour in a rickshaw this will be followed by tea with a local family.
Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 4 BEIJING

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will join the Beijing City Tour with visits to
Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City. Following your lunch break you will visit the Summer Palace where you will take a boat ride on the Lake Kunming. This evening you will enjoy a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner.

Day 5 BEIJING - XI'AN

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for a good harvest. This is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. Afternoon you will fly on your two-hour flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 6 XI'AN

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, you will join this exciting tour as you will visit The Terracotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor and the Bronze Chariots.
Following lunch at local restaurant, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 AD. Return to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 7 XI'AN - SHANGHAI

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to Xian Airport for a two-hour flight to Shanghai. This cosmopolitan and bustling city, which is so heavily populated is - an inspiration to modern architecture.
Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight

Day 8 SHANGHAI

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will join your introductory
sightseeing tour of Shanghai where you will be inspired at the various sights.
You tour will feature the Yuyuan Garden, the old area of the city and a you will stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the "Bund". Following lunch break, you will visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. This evening you will attend the famous acrobatic show. Overnight.

Day 9 SHANGHAI - HONGKONG

Breakfast and morning at leisure. Afternoon you will be transferred to Shanghai Airport for your two hour flight to Hongkong. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisureDay 10 - HONG KONG

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for your half-day sightseeing tour of this cosmopolitan City with visits to the Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and the fishing Village of Aberdeen - seeing first hand as to how the floating community live. Your final stop will be on the famous Victoria Peak. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 11 - HONG KONG

Breakfast at your hotel. Full day at leisure for individual sight seeing - perhaps take a double decker tram or visit the space museum or why not visit Hongkong's new attraction - The Disney Land - Hongkong.

Day 12 - HONG KONG

Breakfast at your hotel. Today - your final day. This will offer you the chance to do some last minute shopping or dig deep into the Chinese Community and attend one of the Cantonese lunch time restaurant or simply relax. Evening transfer to Hongkong's International Airport for your return flight.

Day 13 - HONG KONG / IRELAND
