Greece Itinerary
FEATURING - ATHENS BEACH, KEA, MYKONOS, SANTORINI HERAKLION/RETHYMNO (CRETE), MONEMVASIA, NAFPLIO AND SPETSES
Day 1 DUBLIN TO ATHENS
Upon arrival at Athens, you will be met and transferred to the Resort of Glyfada and to the 5* deluxe Divanni Apollon Palace Hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 - GLYFADA
Following breakfast, you will have the full day to relax either on the Apollon's beach or their swimming pools or take advantage of their outstanding Toullasso' Spa Center. In the evening try one of the numerous Greek and International Restaurants in the Glyfada beach area. Overnight
Day 3 - GLYFADA TO KEA
Breakfast at your hotel, morning at leisure. Mid day departure from your hotel to the port of MARINA ZEA, PIRAEUS where you will embark on your Mega Yatch Harmony for your 7 night Classical Greek Island Tour.
Afternoon departure via Cape Sounion to Kea. Time at leisure to explore Kea's tiny port Korrisia after dinner. Departure in the early hours for Delos.
Day 4 DELOS (anchorage) - MYKONOS
After breakfast optional morning tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos, antiquity's most sacred island. From here you will continue your journey to the Port of Tourlos in Mykonos, with a swim stop on the way. Free afternoon and evening to enjoy the island's cosmopolitan lifestyle. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 5 MYKONOS - SANTORINI - CRETE
Breakfast on board, as you sail south towards Santorini (anchorage at Fira).
Noon time arrival in Fira the principal town of Santorini. Optional tour to archaeological sites and typical villages with unique views over the Aegean Sea. Night departure for the island of Crete.
Day 6 HERAKLION, CRETE
Breakfast on board as you sail towards Heraklion. Arrive mid morning in the Main Town of Crete. Time to wonder around the bustling city of Heraklion or take an Optional excursion to the magnificent ancient city of Knossos.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight
Day 7 RETHYMNON, CRETE - MONEMVASSIA
Breakfast on board as you sail west ward. Mid morning arrival at Crete's most famous and lively town - Rethymnon. Optional tour to the medieval old town and the small Venetian harbor and to Villages and Monasteries nearby.
Late afternoon departure as you will sail through the night for Monemvassia.
Overnight.
Day 8 MONEMVASSIA - NAFPLION
Breakfast on board. Having arrived at Monemvassia - this remarkable medieval fortified town, you will have time at leisure to explore the uniquely preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture and experience the beauty of its natural setting.
Later in the afternoon, you will depart for Nafplion making a swim stop en-route, arriving Nafplion at sunset. There, giving you the opportunity of an evening to explore the beauties of this magnificent port. The old quarter is charming, with its narrow streets and characteristic period architecture. Also, impressive are the medieval fortifications which can be seen from the port and act as a crown on the hills above. Overnight in port.
Day 9 NAFPLION - SPETSES
Breakfast on board with a day at leisure or take an optional tour to Mycenae, the powerful walled palace of Agamemnon, the Homeric Achaean king. Early afternoon departure for the island of Spetses. Time at leisure to explore this remarkably preserved traditional town, with no cars to disrupt the singular atmosphere created by this paradoxical blend of aristocratic town houses, genuine island culture and countless trendy shops, restaurants, cafés and cosmopolitan nightspots. Overnight
Day 10 SPETSES - MARINA ZEA, PIRAEUS - DUBLIN
Departure in the early hours for Marina Zea, Piraeus. Arrival and disembarkation after breakfast. Upon arrival at Piraeus Port, your private coach will be waiting to transfer you to Athens City where you will experience a wonderful introductory tour of this ancient city with the main attraction - a visit to the Acropolis. Free time will be given for lunch and last minute shopping. As evening approaches you will be collected and transferred to Athens International Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
