FEATURING - CAIRO, LUXOR AND ASWAN WITH A 4 NIGHT NILE CRUISE

Day 1 FLIGHT DUBLIN TO CAIRO

Depart Dublin on your schedule flight to Cairo - enjoy the in-flight service including meals and bar service. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight

Cairo is considered to be the Jewel of the Nile, Cairo has been the largest city in Africa for centuries.

Day 2 CAIRO - LUXOR

Breakfast at your hotel. Following breakfast, you will depart on your introductory sight seeing tour - where you will visit, The Citadel and Mohammed Ali Mosque, Cairo Museum and the Great Pyramids of Giza
Guardian of the famous Sphinx. The figure of the Sphinx is thought to depict the head of King Khafre, while the body is that of a recumbent lion.
Afternoon at leisure. Evening transfer to Cairo's main railway station for your overnight train journey to Luxor. Dinner and overnight

These are sleeper trains, all carriages are similar, accommodation is based
on 4 sharing per carriage. 2 person carriage incurs a supplement of 85.00 per person. Single Carriage supplement 170.00 Euro. Departure time is approximately 2100H and arrival is next morning at 0600

Day 3 LUXOR - NILE CRUISE

Breakfast will be served on board your train prior to arrival. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met and transferred to your 5* Cruise Boat. For your 4 night Nile Experience - Luxor to Aswan Check in formalities will then follow, followed by lunch on board This afternoon you will visit the magnificent Karnak & Luxor Temples on the East Bank. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 NILE CRUISE (LUXOR - ESNA- EDFU)

Breakfast on board, this will be followed by your morning tour of the West Bank including the Valley of Kings, Queen Hatchepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise boat for lunch as you depart Luxor for afternoon sailing to Esna. Here you#will travel to Esna lough - afternoon tea will be served on board as you dock at Edfu. Dinner and overnight

Day 5 NILE CRUISE (EDFU - KOM OMBO)

Breakfast on board, morning visit of the submerged temple of Edfu. Returning to your cruise boat for lunch as you sail the majestic Nile towards Kom ombo.
Afternoon visit of the temple dedicated to the Falcon God. Afternoon tea served on board. This evening is special Carnival evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 NILE CRUISE (KOM OMBO - ASWAN)

Breakfast on board. Morning visit to the High Dam, the unfinished Obelisque and the tranquil Philae Temple, painstakingly moved, stone by stone, to its island setting to rescue it from the rising Nile. Return to your cruise boat for lunch. Afternoon experience the Nile by an excursion on the famous Felucca.Afternoon tea will be served following your Felluca experience. Farewell dinner and overnight.

Day 7 ASWAN - LUXOR

Breakfast on board, full morning at leisure to relax on board ship or an optional excursion is available to the famed sight of Abu Simbel. Afternoon disembarkation for your return journey to Luxor. Check in at your hotel. Overnight.

Day 8 LUXOR

Breakfast at your hotel. Full day at leisure. A chance to enjoy some extra sight seeing - why not take a day trip to the Red Sea and to the resort of Hurghada or simply shop in many of the renowned shops that Luxor has to offer. Overnight

Day 9 LUXOR- CAIRO

Breakfast at your hotel. Full day to relax by the hotel pool or do some last minute shopping before you will be transferred to Luxor's Railway Station for your overnight rail journey to Cairo. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast on board your train. Upon arrival at Cairo's main railway station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where accommodation has been reserved for day use. Evening optional tour to the Sound and Light Show (Pyramids). Late eveningtransfer to Cairo's International airport for your return flight to Dublin

Day 11 CAIRO-DUBLIN

Depart Cairo at approximately 0300H arrive Dublin at 1130H
